Is it just me or does it make anyone else sick to there stomach when you posts about people shooting bear or lion out of a tree and hearing bout dogs getting tore up or there dogs being in hot pursuit, how much brains do those people have. You should always tie your dogs back you spend too much time training a dog to have it ate up or killed because a person don't have enough sense to tie there dogs back, that's unethical. That is one of the first things I learned at a young age that I was supposed to do and has been one of the most important, people that don't do this just remember when you cripple out a bear or a lion and your dogs aren't tied its no joke and it's not the freaking circus, tie your dogs back and be a man and get under the tree and finish the deed, and save your hound from getting killed or ate up

Amen! I was taught at a young age that the dogs come first so tie em back and put ya self in harms way if you must. Also it helps young dogs from picking up bad habits at the tree!
