I got an old gyp that I use on hogs and she is a dandy the info I have on her is her momma was out of a line called Doebelly could be Plott or Blue tick im not sure which one I would like to know more about them possible there out of TX being that's where she came from she looks like a red tick. If anyone has heard of them I would like to hear what they know.

Interesting fellow, actually reminded me of some characters actors that play mountain man parts such as jerimiah johnsons buddy that hunted griz. He had a necklace of hog tusk around his neck. Had a line of bs that you like to listen to. I think he was from Caldwell tx. Or his name was doe belly Caldwell from Bryan tx. Like I said, that was 20 yrs ago
