With spring break here for the kids, my daughter joined in on the fun today.
six wolves and a coyote. Should have had more wolves but a couple chewed off the cable snare.

Great catch. Wow! Does your canine fur last this late up there? That is sure nice if it does. What a nice long season.
I love the pictures and great encouragement to the kids. That has got to be a record of some kind.(at least for them. Will be tuff to top that!)

Congratulations!

Only the big males where good. Our season is 24/7 365 with unlimited bag limits on private land trapping only.

I think that was only about 1/2 the pack. I can still snare for a week and then foothold only.
I hope to clean out a few more before we start running bears.

I broke my lucky streak this year...shot one four years in a row. I still haven't managed to trap one yet wish we,could use snares. Do you get multiple catches a lot?

Yes I do get multiple catches often. Six is the most I have got in one go. Foot hold traps work great and once again you will have multiple catches at a time. The most important thing is to find travel routes for the pack. Remember you will never trick their nose so you need to have their sex drive or domination drive take over their fear if the human smell.

I think I need to move...You catch all those beautiful lynx, lions, bears and can trap six wolves in one day and haven't broke any rules!

Just to think I left my construction job 13 years ago and moved north with my young family not know how we will make it but knew it was time for a change. I took one 2 year old walker dog with me I got from a free to good home add because I wanted to catch a lion or two.............. the rest is history.
