I know the bottom side and it is pretty much old Nance blood out of Topper again who was owned by Jeff Allen of Kanab, Utah at the time and is now owned by Andy Jenson of Colombus, Montana.

The top side is excellent walker bloodlines and Spanky can give a more accurate take on some of these fine dogs.

Ok, thanks. So the top is mostly coon dogs and the bottom is mostly bear and big game?

Well I don't know if that is excactly right. The Nance dogs started out as coon dogs but over the year they trend has been to use them more on big game where their extreemly cold nosed trail tendancies might be more appreciated. The other side as I said has many , many great big game dogs as well but also boasts one of the winningest lines of modern day coon dogs.

hemi, just wondering what you run with your hound. should be a very versatile dog can steer him any direction from coon to big game! Nance breeding make very nice bobcat hounds. Andy

Hayes goes back to Dohoney breeding, Anna is stylish Queen and Hardwood Bozo breeding, Sackett Jr. is Yadkin Breeding and Lacey is like Anna goes back to Stylish Queen. All are competition coonbred but its older breeding which at times has shown some nice cold nosed hounds. the crosses that wer made were real common going back 10 years ago.

The bottom side is some excellent big game and bobcat breeding. I myself would probably not worry so much about whats behind the hound on paper as much as how does this hound hunt on your desired game. The paper trail is nothing more then a direction you can follow some what down the road if you want to breed the hound toward his lineage and likeness.

Walker pedigree.
