Just a few of the hogs we caught in February. Had a pleasure hunting my young hounds. Have 3 hounds that can do it alone from start to finish with no help. That I have bred and raised and hunted myself.

Looks like some good hunting Sam, I cut my teeth in that bogue chitto swamp, there is not telling how many hogs I’ve caught down there, I can just about touch a tree blindfolded down there and tell you where I’m at, some fun hunting when the river level is right...

Sam, great looking plott dogs. What’s the breeding behind them?

Bogue Chitto was good hunting. I didn’t get to make a whole lot of hunts down there this year but the 3 times I went we came out with over 24 hogs. Between me an Kyle. Bradley an me only got together once down there cause of his schedule.

my top hound is a Sizzling heat Alabama hammer bred dog.. I have a Pocahontas male off of Cody III and Hope that is doing really good had him rig a lot of hogs this year off the truck an boat. I’ve got 4 dogs all together the other two are grade dogs that were handed to me to hunt and breed how I wanted so I do. And they are doing really well finding their own hogs as well. Been a good year so far. Can’t wait for what comes next year.
