Nebraska Lion Hunter needs help

I drew one of the auxiliary season permits for the North unit that allows the use of hounds in Nebraska. We hunted hard opening weekend, but unfortunately the blizzard and then the warm weather the following day really hurt us. We were not able to get around very good at all, and did not cut a track. The weather is not looking good for the last week of the season but I'm not wanting to give up. Any hounds-men around the Pine Ridge area that can give me any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also the guys we had with hounds were about 6 hours away from where we were hunting. Is anyone close out there that would be willing to help? Thank-you in advance guys!
Essentially the terrain is going to be muddy, not very dry. There will be some pockets of old snow in the hills and pines, but mostly muddy conditions.

Guys, watching the weather and its looking like a chance of accumulating snow Friday into Saturday. Is there anyone near the Rushville area with Lion Hounds that is interested in helping me? This is my last shot, the season ends Sunday.

Contact Tanner Peyton on here he used to live right there and might know something. You can do a search on his name.
Also, ethertonee, and eskinner45 on here live right around there. Also Ryan Munn is not too far from there and he has good dogs and connections to experienced lion dogs. I forget the town he lives in but it is in the SW 1/4 of Nebraska.
Search these guys and send messages. I don’t know if they will find them because they don’t come here much. But maybe they will receive notifications.
I might be able to find phone numbers. If I do I will PM them to you.

Thank-you for the responses. As long as I'm with we can use anyone's dogs. Its looking good for this weekend, I'll probably be heading to rushville Thursday afternoon to start cutting tracks early Friday morning. Again, appreciate the names!

We did catch a big female with 3 kittens Saturday morning. They got more snow than expected on Friday which was a good thing, because it also go warmer than expected sooner. We were pretty much out of decent snow by Sunday around noon. I was able to take my oldest son with me which made the experience one that will last a lifetime. We both said on the way home, it would have been great to be bringing a cat home but just seeing what we got to see made the hunt a total success

You are proclaiming the beauty of hunting tree game with hounds: the option of catch and release. Thank you for your testimony to the greatness of our sport.
Wonderful photos. Congratulations on a COMPLETELY succesful hunt. I can’t think of a better ending than that. So amazing you got to be with your son there.

Well let me know, I’m just down in Bridgeport. I would give seven of my right toes and three of my left to be in on a good race just one more time.
