Man there is a lot to be learned from that.
He says “get in” like me. Lol. He also says “get out”. Key word “get”(Git). Not a sound out of his dogs in the box listening to the race. It sure showed a graphic example of what can happen when a fox (cat) comes into the road and runs the road a tiny bit. You could see how that can end a race if he stays on the road for half a mile. The dog that made the pick-up, still trying to figure how he ended up down there. He did not take the fox’s path to get there.
Did he say “he poofed ‘em there for a bit” ?
Do you know the dogs? Did he say “Maryland” dogs. Are they the Pennmarydels?
Really nice video. Thank you.

Nice hound work. Nice hounds. Yes penmarydales it seems he referred to.

Dogs show a lot more potlicker than the southeastern fox hounds of the same time period. Most of the voices were more houndier.

Mule man, that’s because they were pennmarydels not the walkers that most foxhunted. Certainly not potlickers, but not my style of hound. He said a grey fox race lasted 6 hours, no way a daytime grey race lasted 6 hours around the hounds and hounds men I grew up around
