Man you all are correct about voting for McCain/Palin. Lately is seems to me McCain is giving up and is not pushing anymore. I hope he has a great plan for the next few weeks or he is going to tank it. Sometimes I wonder if the damn thing is not rigged!

sorry folks, I have to repectfully disagree.. two party system or not it is not whats best for america... look into ron paul and the constitutionalist party or liberian party.. may not make a difference in the immediate future but down the road we need a third party.......both of the current parties are no more than elite neocons............both want your freedoms and both will get them...time to wake up! they are all connected and they both want the same things.............they take two different roads to get to the same destination! that destination is one world gobermint and a one world currency.....its coming!

The whole thing makes me want to throw up. That socialist Obama is going to win this election because the American people are too stupid to know any better. I have met and talked with a bunch of half-wits that are going to vote for him, but not a single one of them can tell me why. I'm glad we are pretty much all on the same page. I just hope each one of us can grab someone else and get them to vote our way. Get them registered,drive them down to vote come Nov. If we can do that and then get them to do the same then we can still maybe pull this thing out but we gotta dig deep friends all hands on deck...

ok Mike, here you go..... the constitution has become wounded... first the patriot act (privacy) and now you have taxation without representation... I dont know about you but even if my vote goes by way of the wind.,. and if there is enough of that independent vote then the incumbents know that americans are tired of the two parties....is an independent going to win this election... NO... Is change on the way with either of these two parties...NO... so that makes it easy for me!....

There is no reason anyone of us has to settle for a candidate. If you believe both are substandard, then it is YOUR duty as an American to vote for someone else. For too long the people of this country have had to deal with this horses&%t two-party system. The reason the third party candidates don't debate with the other two candidates is because lack of public interest for the third party.

The reason nothing gets done is because there is no such thing as a bi-partisan congressman or woman anymore, and the reason there isn't is because in order to get elected most Republicans have to be as far right as possible and the Democrats have to be as far left as possible. So now the House and the Senate are packed full of extremes that won't compromise and nothing gets done.

When it all comes down to it, it is OUR fault that D.C. is the way it is.

agreed, it is our own fault... but once fault is recognized it must be corrected.. Your also right about nothing getting done... that is for the common people....When it come to lining bankers pockets or their own its a different story...my whole point is I truly consider myself a patriot.. gun toting,. hound using., speaking my mind tax paying citizen... but when it comes to a loss of natural freedoms... i say screw em all!
