You can make one phone call that will reach all 18 members of the House FWP Committee.
Call 406 444-4800 and ask that your message of support for HB468 (hound hunting for black bears) be sent to each member of the House FWP Committee. Add any talking points you want to make.
That one phone call reaches all 18 Committee members

Good luck in getting this passed. One phone call reaching all those people is nothing to ask, especially when it is helping yourself and your hounds.

I know it is still early and they are probably still trying to setup all the regulations but anyone know the preliminary info with regards to nonresidents? Just curious if a person will have to apply for class 4 d hound handler permit or will they change the amount they will allow or will be a separate permit for the bear season? Just curious

There is no plan for the out of state houndhandler license yet . Everything is still a work in progress.
