Hi all.
New to the hound hunting, just got a year old black and tan and am really looking forward to running some cats and coons this winter. Usually spend every weekend calling critters and decided to add a little more fun to the mix.

Anyone here from South East NM? Always looking for new people to hunt with. Like I said I call yotes on a weekly basis through out the winter and am looking for some new partners.

I use hand calls for the yotes. Haven't been able to make myself spend that much on a call yet. Actually the wife won't let me. Says I spend way to much on hunting as it is.

David,

Those yotes will come to those hand calls just as well. I have used both and its good to mix it up some. Just got to camo up a lil better and watch the scent cause their dialed in to where the call is coming from and the person or e-call that makes it

I have been calling coyotes for 45 years, in fact that is what pays the bills. Get yourself a Burnham Brothers Compucaller II which has better sound quality and volume for half the money.

Hey Gary I have used one before and loved it. I am still working on talking the wife into letting me get one. You ever call anywhere close to Roswell?

I have not called very close to Roswell but have around Datil, Grants, Albuquerque and Tucumcari. I have called across most of Texas and 12 other states.
The Compucaller II produces very good sound quality and volume. The best on the market priced under $600. I sell them in my catalog for $329. I really like some of the country between Caprock and Roswell. I have plans to try to get on some of it but seem to end up some where else. Will be through Roswell next week as I have to be in Alto for a wedding. What do you chase with hounds around Roswell?
