my cameron bluetick, yesterday got the runs, he eats just like normal but seams to me that he is not himself. I took him huntin today, and i put him on the rig box, after 2 or 3 hours of trying to rig a bear with no resalt, I put out sum bear scent on a bush, and then drove by it, he didnt even rig that, and he is my best rig dog I got... after that I knew he wasnt himself, so I took him home and called a friend and told him the story, he told me that more than likely he has worms, I gave him sum dewormer... Does or has anyone had this problem? cam it really be worms?

Could be worms but the symptons of worms dont usually just happen all at once. Maybe he got into something. If it goes on for more than a couple days it would be worth your money to see the vet.

most wormers say not to deworm a sick dog for a reason. has the stool been bloody or black (black can mean internal bleeding especially around the liver which will give it a deep black color)

Give him Pepto-Bismol
Then check for worms

Could also be coccidia. 5 days of Albon will take care of it. But, if not sure see the vet.

It doesn't sound like worms. Most of the problems that cause a dog to act depressed (unless of course he's been injured internally) are from things like an infection, distemper or parvo. Is he up to date on his shots? Definitely take him to the vet.
