how is everyone my name is jared i have a 8 month old blue tick out of pr bent river torque and bent river droop he is already an amazing dog tracks trees and rigs a little but loves them deer and i also have a plott that his dad is a cameron bluetick right from mr. del himselp and its mom is a pocahantus from west virginia he is comin along pretty good im stoked to be on here if im not on in the woods runnin with the duncans im reading like a hound nerd on here for tips and stories so be talkin to ya'll soon

Hay Jared welcome to the board. Just curious, why don't you run Black and Tans? Are you just wanting something different? I would think hunting with the Duncan's you surely have seen some great dog work.

Plot and Blue Tick? Do you like how they look or something?

i had a black and tan she got hit by a car and i have really seen some good dog work while with the duncans they have some amazing dogs i just haven't sen a lot of grit with there dogs yet my plott you would never be able to tell he has blue tick in him he is all plott by looks but the black and tans i have noticed are just a little to sweet hearted for me my blue tick usually come out from big coon fight all cut up and draggin it by the throat and i traded my female blue tick for the plott just to try out the guy says he has had some real good success with the cameron and plott mix figured eh cant hurt right i had a big boar coon fight the other night and while my friends black and tan that i think is duncan bloodline just bawled at it my plott and blue tick dang near tore it apart so i dont know im just really figurin out what breed suits me but i have some real good bear stories with the duncans

i just want everyone to know im not bad mouthin any duncan dog i have the utmost respect for ken and his dogs i was just saying black and tans are soft hearted dogs and im really hard on dogs and i would feel like hell if i ruined a duncan dog from my impatience and dumbness why else do you think i have a plott just so everyone knows and if you look at alot of my other posts alls i do is give those dogs respect and point anyone lookin for a good black and tan to call ken so sorry for any misunderstandings i have all the respect in the world for ken and his dogs

Jared Kens dogs are some of the grittiest dogs i have seen i have the utmost respect for him and his dogs too , in my opinion his fire ball line OF B&T was the best he had he stuff he has now is awesome , i recently had the opportunity to use of of his dogs to stud my female out he was out of Ken Duncan's Blood and Gene Hicks Blood Albert breed crossed him over to my grade female those pups at 2 1/2 months old already doing bear drags and barking at caged coons , there mom is a B&T Blue tick That will kill a coon on her own my Walker looking Male is out of he as well Tops side to him is Jeff Allens Blood lines
