Roy, sounds good. I'm getting ready to head out for a 3 day hunt in a few days. Not sure if I'm heading your way or south. I'll give you a call in a day or two. You been chasing any lately?

DV,

How did the whitetail hunt go?

We been out two days on mud and spot snow. Cougars ain't walking much right now even after the sky cleared a bit the darn wind whooped up. Got on another bob and had a good run that two this week and the little spotted females are wound up tighter than an eight day clock. Bob bluffed them off for a bit today up in the high sand rocks Chassis came thru it off a ten foot jump and was right on it. Nash cut around and Toby and the little one couldn't stand it and had to bail too. Pretty good puppy day, but no long tails. Friends north 15 miles caught a big tom 150 and jumped him twice and let him go.
You guys have fun in the white stuff. We will have to settle for mud until this wind dries it out and then saddle them old ponies and go making the rims looking . Bucks starting to rut pretty hard down here already it is a little earlier than usual/

Mike, the weather did not cooperate too much on the whitetail hunt. Lots of fog and rain. I did get to see some nice bucks tending some does in the headlights....if they only would have been there an hour earlier!
