We went out for a few days in the snow and caught a small tom, a female, and a female with a kitten

we had a good time and the lions are still roaming the hills after we took pics and let the 3 pups chase them to 4 or 5 more trees after we caught them. Got this 8 month old pup that on the first day after we caught the first lion, we cut a tom track that was a little snowed in while hiking to the tree. She hit that track and trailed it for a hundred yards or so before she lost it. The old dogs did good and the young dogs did awsome. All in all it was a fun few days, but the snow is crusted over now so back to the dirt in the morning.

I forgot to mention we trailed the female and kitts for around 2 miles and never saw the kitt tracks and when we got to the tree they were in the tree together. Just as easy could have caught her by herself and would not have known she had kitts.

prime example of killing females and not being able to know weather or not she has kitts. nice work on treein the cats and leavin the female to take care of her young. would have been two dead cats, not one
