Matthes Lion Hounds

Is there anybody still running Steve Matthes's line of dogs? I know of a couple of guys that have crossed in other lines of dogs but I was wondering if there is anybody that has tried not to outcross to much and keep the line going.

there used to be a man around yamhill oregon named ernie strahm that had mathes lion hounds,im not sure if he still does or is even alive,also there is a man in west texas that has a bunch of them,i think he lives around alpine

the guys from oregon on here should know ernie strahm,also dale cole in oklahoma has several that he got from dick muldoon in new mexico,you can find dales number in the back of full cry under coles national cathounds.also the leteer family whom i think are in idaho now had a few mathes dogs several years ago

Does anybody know kyle shelton in Lamar Colorado? He has a website that says he runs matthes hounds. It sounds like there are still a few men out there that run these dogs but I've heard some mixed feelings about them. It doesnt sound like there aren't many on here that have had experience with them but if there are I wouldnt mind hearing about them.
