Are there any pure! weems or star mountain pups out there

I was just wondering if there was any pure full blooded weems or star mountain dogs out there anymore it seems like every thing has been cross bred out

On White Hollow's web site he says the Dale Burnside (WV) is making Weems
and White Hollow crosses. I can't imagine that you will find a pure weems, but could be wrong.

I think Steve Mohr's Ursus plotts are about as close to pure weems as it gets anymore.

Dale Burnside got all of Everett Weems's dogs when he got out. James Brown also has some dogs very close to Weems, mainly ButchxJill stuff with a little mixed in.
Ursus are Ursus dogs not Weems. Steve started with a Weems bred dog but has added other lines that Weems never did.

Am interested in Star Mtn Plotts. What you hunt in way of dogs and what game you hunt.
What your dogs look and hunt like in relation to other Plott lines. Any information appreciated. What state you hunt

I have some pure Star Mtn dogs in WI, I also have some Weems/Star Mtn dogs. Occasionally some pups.

My dogs are white hollow bred, and there pretty heavily weems bred.

no such thing as far as weems go everest has been out to long now. but i have found some full star mountain.

a gentleman i work with informed me that he has a double weems bred gyp that he bought from mr. burnside and i beleive he said she is 2 years old. he is wanting to sell her. if anyone is interested just let me know. thanks steve fields

Burnside got evertts dogs yes but they just got the weems name is bout it now! I bout one cause of supposed weems breeding and well when i got my six generation papers back i was so dissappointed that i sold the dog for 125 bucks! To many outcrosses have been made without bringing any line breeding! Poor old man weems line is bout gone! Last real weems dog i owned was 5 years ago and he was 10 when he lost his life to a mean old sow bear
