Application for the Utah bear draw should be coming up in the next month or two, hard to tell the dates since DWR doesn't have the 2009 proclamation online yet. But a guy has to get excited this time of year cause spring and the bear hunt is just around the corner.

With that in mind, I've been going through some old bear photos and remembering the "Good ol' Days" or "days gone by" a bit. While doing that I posted some of those over on my webpage for anybody that may be interested can go enjoy them.....

Nice pictures Ike. With the spring like weather we have had I to am ready to put the dogs up on the box and head down the road to find those blackies too.

My excitement has been quelled over the last few days though. It has dumped a bit of snow down here......back to winter and reality I guess! Only a few more months.....

Thanks for the kind comments BGH, and yes, winter has shown it's ugly head again and a guy better not get out his shorts or worry too much about putting a dog up on top yet huh.........

I can' t wait until it starts to dry up a bit though, as this stuff kinda sucks........
