Wanting to too snoop around and see if theres anything for sale up here in Canada. Im looking for a start to finish Lion dog. I would like a colder nose dog that can work an older track out. I dont need a lighting fast dog just something with a colder nose. Would like a dog I can use to help start a pup or two. Must run open on track. I realize a dog like this comes with a price tag, I also have a .30-.378 weatherby with a Leupold 4.5-14X50 VXL I would throw in on the deal if anyone was interested. please pm me you have or might know of something. Thanks.

I had a friend or guy that I've met from Alberta ask me to sell him a dog awhile back. It seems he had a bad turn of luck and lost a couple of his older dogs. I told him that was a long ways to ship or drive and he should look closer to home. His response was that people up there wouldn't sell or part with a good dog because of the competition or harvest objective type hunting??????????

Good luck houndcrzy,

Where do you hunt? I have a three year old walker male that I may sell in the spring, but he is a little thin skinned and don't hold up too good in sub zero weather.

I have ran him in some cold weather and he gets it done, I just feel bad for him because of his thin coat. Probably not the best match for your climate. Besides I have friends up there and try not to make it tougher on them. Good luck.
