Maybe he's a bar hunter and measures hight and width and just forgot to average. The gals all get purdy at closing time!

The photos look like from the mid 70's. Not to say any thing bad but I think I would have found slightly newer pics to advertize with but I guess 11 foot lions dont come through 2 often.

Don't know the man from Adam, so I'd just have to go by what he says... I remember one add in Full Cry--, 11 foot lion, 260 pounds, 17" green skull, chased over 26 miles on dry ground... I'd say he has some darn good dogs.

I apologize if some thought from my comment about stretching the truth which is done quite often in all sporting circles that I was degrading Weldon's dogs. I am probably one of the few on here that has hunted with Weldon and his dogs, and I will state right up front that when he came and stayed with me and hunted he had some of the finest looking walker dogs in the country and also they would flat cold trail and you had to drag them off a track.

I think some folks need to lighten up a little and enjoy some humor and maybe they would find they might even enjoy their life a bit more.

Thanks Dan, I know some times my attempt at humor may not be correct in today's world. I really have no axe to grind with anyone I am just glad us old dog folks have a place to gether up and shoot the breeze now and then. I hunt by myself about 90% of the time these days it seems. It is hard for a lot of folks to get out and go and hunting the way I do mostly horseback and long days and dang few trails gets a little boring for some. I am lucky I get to tie two things I really enjoy together and that is horses and hounds. And occasionaly we even get a little gravy thrown in and get to trail a lion. But it is nice to have a place to go where you can converse and learn and joke around a bit.

Mike, shoot I'd come huntin' with you I don't mind a long ride and you're right a trail is just the gravy, a tree is the pot o gold at the end of a rainbow. Being out there is living!!!

Saddle up and let's go. Drop me a PM and we can make it happen. I can't hunt Saturday this week becasue I have a funeral to attend. Where are you from my digs?

Hey thanks for all of the info. As for the stories I don't get to caught up in them. The truth always gets distorted a little. It sounds like he has dogs that can cold trail and hold game. Thanks again
