Took the hounds out this afternoon, all went well until a trash race broke out. Thank goodness for the Astro as it shortened the rac to about 30 minutes I just got rolling again and we jumped this nice boar off the road, two days in a row a good trainer I must be living right. Oh yah I forgot about the deer race. None last year, 3 this year already.

that black and tan is an unpapered dog from Alberta. An OK bear dog but a real cat hater.

Sounds like your having a good weekend. Well all But the deer race. You know there is a guy on here from Australia asking about deer dogs. Maybe we have all been looking at it wrong? We have just been training them for Australia all these years.

Look and sound like a good start to your year! as far as catching bear go.
