Just had a awsome hunt come up in the Gila. (to those who don't know where the Gila is, it is South West New Mexico, New Mexico's best Elk hunting areas) It is a rifle hunt that starts Oct 13-17th fully guided meals, and accomodations included. $5000.00 and that includes the tag, and one on one guiding. is the area a draw?

Ummm.. that would be.... southwest NM. Everything in NM is a draw unless you get a landowner tag. With the exception of a few late season antler point restriction hunts if they still do that.

Yes New Mexico is a draw, but I had a client that drew this tag, pass away, and the tag was left to his wife, she can transfer it to anyone she wishes. So that is how this hunt is available. If you want more information or want to do this hunt call me Sonny @ 928-587-9653, (this is what the hunt that he had set up cost.) My prices are normally $4500.00 for two on one and $5500.00 one on one plus the cost of the tag, you will be saving $1250.00 for this hunt.

nm law only allows raffle and auction winners to transfer licenses. Landowners can also sell thier permits. draw permits can not be transferred.
