Where to start? Are you going to support them right to their ultimate goal, ending all sport hunting? You'll be out of a job. The Department of Fish and Game, specifically the Law Enforcement Division at the direction of Chief Nancy Foley, participated in a press conference with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and accepted a check to the CalTip K9 fund for $5,000 to feed and provide veterinarian care to five of the working detection dog teams we have in the field. Each of the dogs were rescue or shelter dogs before becoming certified K9s.

It is of paramount importance to work collaboratively with other agencies and groups who can contribute to the Department's mission. There are issues the Department has in common with HSUS, such as poaching, but the two missions are divergent on other topics. This is no different than with any other group engaged in donations, partnerships or collaborations with the Department. This donation has no bearing on Department policy.

DFG welcomes the opportunity to promote the K9 program, game warden equipment and methods to catch poachers with all groups. The K9 program has been in existence for two years. We look forward to funding and support opportunities with the other groups in the future.

I got the same answer to my question to her : How can you ( so called game manager ) climb in bed with the very group that is trying to put you out of a job with there disregard for proper game managment.

It is a WELL KNOWN FACT that Nancy Foley IS NOT a hunting fan!

so why not have chc.... donate to the same cause ,and get a comment from ms. foley .
