I am a rancher out here in NM. I have been introduced to this sport and love it. I have hunted as long as I can remember just not with hounds until recently. I currently have some plotts that have become a real good part of my family.

Hey, nmplott
You may have to come down to Cloudcroft and we can run some cat. How old are the kids 'plotts'

Yeah I here ya..... not many hood felines in in CC..... lol 4 months old....my pups only 7 they would have a blast. It would be good to get them use to running in a pack forsure. Im looking at the end of July or first weekend in August keep it open maybe we can let them run for a weekend even weekdays work. Im really trying to get the pup dialed in before the snows come this fall and winter..... now is the time to do it
Post some pics of those lil hell raisers!

nmplott, Where are you from? I hunt around Tucumcari at this time, primarily calling coyotes. I am going to haul my hounds up there this winter. Phil Lyne, Cotulla, TX and I hunted NW of Albuquerque for many years but I don't think I am going back this year. NW is a great state, not many folks and lots of big country. My native South Texas has changed so much in my 50+ years, too many absentee owners.
