This is my new pup. I got her from a fella named Vohn out of Wyoming. Her Sire (Ryle) is out of a cross made by Jeff with his Tucker dog. The Dame (Sissy, out of Joker and Jessie) is from from another cross made by Jeff.
She is a great acting little pup so far. She is very intelligent and confident acting.

I want to thank everyone who helped get her from Wyoming to Oregon safely. Tim, Ryan and Jerry. I owe ya one....

Those might be the biggest ears I've ever seen on a pup. Good luck on your project; she sure is a looker.

So my pup turned 6 months on the 15th so I thought I would try her on a cage.
She is loading, roading and made both cat races on Friday. Although the races where short. She is showing a tremendous amount of intelligences. She is no small pup though. She weighs 60lbs.
I made a drag with the cage across the road and through a field to a tree that was rigged. I took Canni back down the road about a mile and roaded her across the track. She winded the track from 50yds or so and began zig zaging back and forth. She really didn't know what to do with it and acted cautious about it. When she hit the track she trailed it out acting cautious. She found the critter but didn't open until my little 2 year old dog did. Once she got started on it she was WIDE open. I let her bay on it till she seemed more confident then I pulled it up the tree. She put her feet on the wood and treed for a few. I let it down and pulled it back up a few times to keep her intrested then turned it out in front of her. She ran it and treed it by herself. I was very happy with her progress being this was her first live critter.
The whole training only took about 15 minutes as I don't like young dogs to loose intrest during training sessions.
I will post some updated pictures of her this afternoon.
Does anyone have any pictures of Jeffs Tucker dog? Could you post them?
