I found one of the dogs here at my house dead this eavening. Here is as much information as I can think of. We went out last night and did a little raoding it has been warm but not hot about 85. we only put on a couple of miles and rigged back down to the house. I unloaded the dogs and fed and watered them. today it got up to around 90 and windy. at around 5;00 I got home and went out to do my chores and let the dogs run for a while and found a one year old dog laying there dead. she was curled up like she was sleeping but not in her dog house. she had a small trickle of blood in her nose. other than that no sign of anything being wrong. She still had a half bowl of dog food and water in her dishes. I am stumped as to what might have happened to her. any help or suggestions would realy be appreciated. Thanks James G. Moore

I would get all ur dogs tested for anaplasia (spelling) tons of dogs are dying in wisconsin around home unexpected with no symptoms other than a little weight loss. Lost are best dog this spring and got then next best 4 tested, all positive. Treated just like lymes, dogs layed up for a couple weeks once on meds. From deer ticks also just like lymes.

I competely agree! A few years ago we had a bear treed in the late fall early winter and after the deed was done we hooked onto a dog of ours and ten steps from the tree he fell over dead! The autopsy showed a brain anurism! Its sudden with no early indications

You mentioned that you fed your dog after excersing it. Maybe a twisted stomach
