suggestion/request

Hey Buddy,
I hunt bobcats in TX. Most cat hunters down here use running walker or similar type dogs. It's quite a bit different from hunting cats out west or up north. There are also several guys in Ok and Ks and a lot out east that hunt cats and grey fox but hunt the same way. I know there are several guys in Ca as well. A lot of those guys get on speeddogs.net or masterfox.net to talk but those sites are mostly about hunting in pens. There is really no good place on the net to talk about hunting running dogs outside of pens. Would it be possible to open a new area on biggamehoundsmen for this? It could also include outside coyote hunters to increase the interest. Preferably keeping it mostly to outside dogs since the people that run in pens already use those other sites. It could be titled Outside Foxhounds or Outside Running Dogs or something like that.

Like Doogie Said, there is a Running Dog Section... It's in the Breed discussion.

I'll take a look and see if there is enough folks to make or move it to a Hunting Section..

You know, I knew that was there. I was one of the guys that recommended it way back when. I should spend more time thinking and less time typing. Maybe I will just start recruiting and try to liven up that board.

DerekE is doing a good job of recruiting, he has gotten the two Straight (better be politicaly correct and say PURE) Bobcat Hunters in Arkansas reading and enjoying; and thru us Mississippi, LA, FL, GA, & NC Bobcat and Bobcat Greyfox combo hunters enjoying the site.

I will have to explorer further as I had missed the running hound forum!

Check this site out, they discuss running pens but most of these guys run on the outside as well. My favorite is there terrier section.
