Wisconsin Bear Hunt 2018

Well, I haven’t been on here in a while. I have been doing a lot of hunting and staying wide open. I am not a bear hunter, I got a opportunity to go to Wisconsin with Ben Jones owner and trainer at Houston Valley Plotts. Me and Ben hunted all over the state of Wisconsin with some great hunters, from there and some were from Michigan. This was my first bear hunt ever. The people we went with were very hospitable and I got to learn a lot about running bear dogs and hounds in general. I am a hog, coyote, and coon hunter from South, Mississippi and had always had the dream to tree a bear. I brung 3 dogs and Ben brung the real bear dogs, I think we ended totaling around 23 caught bear. Some we caught on ground, 3/4 we caught on ground the rest treed. Definitely something I will never forget.

Well done. I went bear hunting in Maine for a week what a blast and pretty intense!!! Absolutely loved every minute of it.
