I have a drahthaar that learned to track on bears. Every morning, from 3 months to 7 months, I got him on a fresh bear track that had been laid that night. The Super Redhawk has the internal design that has the capacity to be a smoother action after a trip to a competent gunsmith.

Also, the grip design is much different between the two. The Redhawk uses the standard grip frame with grip panels. The Super uses a peg design so grip shapes, designs, etc ...

I have seen some of the Smith & Wesson's that have been stretched a bit by too many full power loads and you would get some cylinder gap differtial and shaving. I have a lovely 6" Model 27 that had been used by a bullet maker as a test gun and it would do that with full power loads. I backed it off ...
