EDITED TO CLARIFY: I agree about talking to different plott breeders and owners, and i agree that looks dont translate into hunting ability, HOWEVER, i kept my pup out of the litter because i thought he was the prettiest one...very houndy with a lot of ears, skin and big-boned ...

Here is my home-raised Plott pup at 6 months.. Big ( a little over 60 lbs), houndy, good bawl mouth and he could follow an hours-old drag at 4 1/2 months of age...
