This past wkend I hunted 12 fox/cat dogs, 4 11 month pups, and 1 deer dog that might work out. Caught a 28lb tom and a 311/2 lb tom. 1 20 minute race and 1 1 hr 10 minute race. Buddy, I never owned but 2 good ones and both of them died in the 80's. Due to the shortage of foxes where I can hunt I am cutting back on dogs a little. Wow! After reading this stuff I have decided that I am very lucky to catch even 1 fox or cat. I did not realize it was this difficult to catch cats with dogs. I sure hope I can get a catdog one day.

Jim, I have had a few good races in the last month. Hunting down in pamlico county. Probably the thichest ground I have ever been in. Mighty rough on the dogs and me as well. At least can have a good race in there. And, might not catch him. (mighty sorry dogs dogs had 2 to get away)
