Re: Hunter or hound ?
Jcathunter, your reply brings up another question I have been pondering on. Is a dog false treeing or slick treeing the dogs breed or the hunters lack of dog handling skills or knowledge to fix the problem?

Hunter or hound ?
Lots of talk about running dog or tree dog on bobcats. My question is, is it as much the style of dog you run as much as it is the ability or skill level of the houndsman hunting those dogs? I know a fine houndsman that catches more cat than I with Jack Russell's. Thanks Jason

Mr. Chilcotin hillbilly those are some fine looking hounds you have. ESPECIALLY the white walker dog with pink lips!!!! What is the breeding behind that dog? Sure looks like a dandy. Thanks for your time . Jason

Rigging bobcats
What age would you expect a cat dog to start rigging cats? Also do they make better rig dogs if they start rigging early ( 6 months to a yr old) or better ( 1 yr an older) ? Thanks Jason.
