Re: feeding beef to dogs.
I was told by a top horse vet canola oil is the best oil to supplement with for fat intake. It is the cheapest and has the highest calorie content. we feed it to our older horses to keep them in good condition through the winter. i also feed my dogs alot of meat but also feed dog food so they get ...

Re: I need Help
Hunt her in the woods spot lighting coon. find a coon and get her to come to you then leash her and shoot the coon out to her, pretty soon she will connect the two and not be scared of it.

New dog to the pack
Well its not really a pack, I have had two hounds (young) and hunted them for the past two years with out any other dogs around. I just got another dog that is the same age. How long does it take for them to figure out their place. Do I hunt the heck out of them or do I give them some time to get ...

Re: I need Help
Right or wrong, I started my hound pups with out an older lead dog. so my pups had showed me everything I think. Is what I did to get them wanting to hunt is I started by spot lighting coons out of the trees. It helped with two reasons one it showed the dogs that there are coons out there and also ...

Re: graining started colts
If you are in the business of starting colts you should be able to see what a colt may need a little boost and what doesn't. I don't like feeding grain to young horses, if they need a little something to help them out I feed a complete feed like equine JR or stratagy. Yes it cost a little more but ...

Re: Mule with a Low Bowed Tendon
I am with Cowboyvon, I have also had heading horses slip in the mud and bow a tendon, also got a horse off the track that had bowed a tendon during the race. both of them just took time to heal up. and neither one of them ever showed lameness after they healed. If a person can get away with it on ...

Re: Lion hunting in the snow on horses
I would say if you had a horse that was worth anything I would leave it at home and use the legs god gave you. Not sure what the lions are like in your area but a tied up horse is an easy meal for a cat. Or an easy target for a tree hugger to throw a big fit. There is not manual for this, they are ...

Daughter's first whitetail deer
This is her the 2nd deer she has ever shot. Last year she shot a 5x6 mule deer. Both deer to one shot. not bad for a 13 year old girl.

Re: Horse Pedigree Question...
Just the reputation Skipper W has. They tend to have alot of buck in them. We have a mare that is Skipper W that is good but she still bucks. But her colt we have we kept a stud and he has never had any real buck, and his colts all have had good disposition.

8 year old Bay gelding for sale

Re: PBR/Rodeo Fans
Jube,
The last rodeo I worked was a little thing in North Pheonix, AZ and right before the bull rideing they had a steer rideing for the kids. out of like 20 kids all but on the first one hung up. after the first few I made the dads quit having the kids use a split fingure wrap. then a few more ...
