I get you now. I understand what you are talking about we had some grade dogs that could not handle being pulled around by the speed demons we are running now.

well we are talking about running dogs here chasing fast game so the treeing of game has little to do with this. There are many fox type dogs that can and will tree in all the strains of hounds out there. but when you start talking about the july, walker, goodman and such they are just breed to ...

popcorn they know that but those strains have been bred by themselves so long they dont act or look like the walkers of today. and really they are bred to do differant things than the fox walkers that they came from. Jmo

i have always had good luvky traping coons with that store bought coon bait that is just like a paste. it is pretty cheap bout 3 or four dollars and it works great on them coons that you just cant get to go into the traps for anything else. that is just my 2cents worth.

What do you run your dogs on?...

I love to run my dogs on the deers. i have five and they love to burn one down. hoping to learn what others run there running hounds on and maybe see what other kinds of running hounds are out there and what they are run on. thanks in advance for your input and help.

Hey everyone i am from the great state of NC i like to hunt coons deer spend lots of time fishing and just being out side i have five deer hounds one coon hound one coon /squirel cur and a mutt just here to learn and she what others are doing and what is going on in the "outside world"
