Thanks to everyone who posted, i will keep everything said in mind. I do plan on taking them to the pens this fall, letting them both out and seeing what they can or can't do by themselves. Thanks again to everyone

My dogs are half running walker, half july. The running walk is probably the best and smartest dog I have ever seen, he's one of those dogs you will never get rid of. He's got a cold nose, but if it's too cold he will comeback and look at you like why are you sending me on this track. As for my dogs ...

Thanks for the post, and I do agree with your suggestions. They are going to be 2 years in August. I am try to cut them in as much as possible, but the guys ego's here about dogs for a 5-10 dollar hide. Im all about my dogs, and I am positive of what they have done aready. I have 2 walker/july pups. Both show interest and my male has bark on track and helped bay a coyote. My female has lead a older dog on track but never barked but shows interest. Problem is my group im in, their dogs will leave my dogs in the dust once they get the urge to push. How are my dogs ...

Are your dog still for sale, or are they gone? I have two young Walker/July hounds, they both have interest, but they dog I hunt with in our group are way too fast to teach, they end up in the dust and end up finishing late, so im looking for a good pup trainer. Thanks!
