Astro update?
I have a reconditioned Astro I got from Garmin about 15 months ago when my previous one quit working. Is there any need for me to update it on the Garmin site? It still works okay although I do lose signal from a collar or two even when the dogs are close. Is this something I can fix with an update?

Aircraft interferance and Garmins?
I have been using my garmin with two 30 collars on my beagles for five months now and am more then satisfied with their overall performance. However I have had two experiences that have me wondering about their reliability in some situations. In both incidents my dogs were running hare in a club ...

A good read on wolves!
Although long, this article is a great read and refutes much of the accepted "
wisdom" often cited about wolves.
