Will the pin# stop a collar theif being able to load a stolen collar into another Astro?
Also, will the battery box be even bigger now, with the gps contained inside it?

I bumped into some New Zealander's about 30 yrs ago, that used to get the hogs to chase them. Then they would jump up a small tree and hang on with one hand and reach down and stick 'em with a Bowie knife with the other. They had the photo's to prove it. I know most people including myself who start hog dogs in bay pens. Its a nice indicator of a dogs desire and an oppertunity to let the prospect know that baying a hog is a good thing.

Haven't used them myself, but everyone i've spoken too who has, says they are crap compared to the Garmin gear.

I turn my Astro and collars on a few minutes before arriving at the hunting area, this way they are all tuned in to each other when I let the dogs out. You never know when you may need to let them out in a hurry, and pissing around turning collars on and waiting for the Astro to pick them up would ...
