Re: Montana Trapping in Jeopardy!
This is bad news on a lot of levels. I know that often times houndsmen and trappers cant see eye to eye but this is a step closer at taking away the right to hunt with hounds as well.

Re: Hide prices
Silent,
I'm not trying to start an argument but all indicators are showing a substantially weaker fur market this year. Coyotes, coons, rats, mink, and fox are all being sold at 30% less this year. China has been riddled with fur issues and Russia has had an unusually warm winter. Both of these two ...

Re: Hide prices
900-1200?? have you actually sold cats at that price or just heard of someone? Typically the cat market comes one later in the year. Next week is utah's sale and we should have a pretty good feel for prices but I would expect them to be down from last year. How much is the question??

Re: Do you want some horse meat? (W. MT)
I wish that I was in Montana cause I would jump all over that!
BoarHunter-
I sure wouldn't be willing to feed an old, lame, and crippled horse. Down here that would run somewhere around $75 a month. People are constantly turning their unwanted horses out in the desert to starve to death around ...

Re: Impeach Obama...Yes or No?
I can't stand the guy and wish that we had gotten rid of him, I also consider myself a staunch republican. I have to agree with ferjr however that Fox News is not reliable at all and pushes as much propaganda as the far left media stations. As I really look into his executive order and in talking ...

Re: thoughts on the trapping bill for 2013
regardless if you like trappers or not, the loss of rights is a scarey thing. It paves the way for the activists to take away your rights as a houndsmen. You would be foolish to not support any effort to stop the loss of Sportsmans rights.

Re: Riggin Lion
My first experience with dogs was in central Oregon, I went out hunting bobbers with a friend and we rigged a couple that morning and caught two. I've hunted with him several times since and watched his dogs rig and catch several bobcats, they are dang good at it. that being said I don't believe ...

Re: Gamey dogs
I dont think that its a breeding issue but I do think the only way to clean them up is to show them a truckload of the right game.
