Here's my question for all you Ursus breeders.I'm not trying to stir the, crap but is the cull rate on these dog really 50 percent as some have said. I'd like to get one but if it's that high would it be worth it. The one's I hunted with year ago were nice dogs.

I done some research on the gentlemen I had hunted with in Ca. with the Ursus Plotts that I talked about in the earlier post. I tried to contact him and he has past away according to his son. His son told me that the buckskin plotts they had were Ursus breed plott,and his father had got them from a ...

Is this breeder from canada that was breeding the buckskin plotts. I hunted with a guy who had some nice dogs from him. Tuff as nails,dogs looked like they had terrrier in them from there hair real coarse.I wish I could remember his name,he was catching the problem bears for the fish cops.

I'll have to agree with catch about the bear in the picture. It's just my thought that if that bear was getting ate up on the ground that he would find place to go up, or better place to do battle. Look at the bear if it wasn't for all the noise he'd be taking a nap.Sometimes two bear dog are better ...

Hey Oren, How are these dogs of yours on a walking bear.Maybe you don't use them on bear, out here in IN I've had some nice House breed hound that were great on the bears.Do you use them on hogs.You wouldn't happen to know where theres some House, Woodscreek Loose Bruce , there the best.You got any ...
