I teach up here in alaska but ran walkers on hog and coon in texas....so, need a female and male to run and breed here in alaska for black bear...i can ship via alaska airlines, they have to have their shots..and be old enough to run by mid sept....

I'm telling you the truth...black bear is the BEST animal to eat in Alaska, period...I just go tmy first one, just out of the hole...he had only cranberries and grass in him...not much fat...and he smelled awesome! My moose smelled more muskie then he did! It is like a dark pork, kid you not!

Yes, hunting black bear with dogs is legal, that is the only thing you can hunt...

gret pic, but, do you really want a dog that will get a hold of a bear? you usually loose dogs that way!!!

know any breeders that handle laika's?...like the hair on it...

we have a 40 mile plus road that leads to the gold mines, that is all....we are located on the yukon river so we are a bush village....no roads coming in....

not that many griz's here, some....wondered if I could get them trained on a whistle, shock collar, etc to come off the wrong game....

Ok, I'm an old treeing walker man from texas, hunted coon and hogs with them...yeah, they bark on trail, but? How would a walker do in the -20 to -50 with a heated dog house for the winter...then hunt them in the spring/fall at about -20 to 30 above?....

In Alaska, we not only look at the ears, but look at the length of the nose...if it looks long and skinny, it's small...if the nose looks short and fat, with ears that are not barely visible, its big....
