Re: **BUYER BEWARE**

A friend of mine bought a dog from Cleo named tinny. It was junk. Handled fine but had no interest in lion or bobcat when put on a track but would chase the hell out of another dogs tail!!!

Re: cat prices

Liz,
I like the money but like the cats more. Selective harvest definately is important. I don't think prices can stay this high for more than a couple years but who knows. I do think that the cat population is down in parts of our area but think it has more to do with prey than hunting. In areas ...

Re: South Eastern Bobcat Hunting with Story!

Thanks for sharing the story. Always good to hear of different places and difference in hounds. Also nice to hear that I'm not the only person that doesn't catch every cat that he turns loose on.

Re: cat prices

Yeah Andy,
That's the best I've ever done. They were all males and all but one were caught at 8000 to 9000 feet in the mountains. I felt like I earned every penny!

Re: 20 feet up

box rocker, It's the first time I've had a dog that high in a tree in 7 years of hunting and they have caught plenty of them. I thought pics were funny, actually at first sight of the dog through the timber I thought they had caught a lion.
twist,
The female I got from you is doing ok. Medium nose ...

20 feet up

Here are some pics of a couple recent hunts. This was the fourth time I had run this cat over the course of the last month. Had him jumped on two of the other races and my dogs could not put him in a tree, lost him in the rocks both times. The second race ended in a giant boulder field with rocks as ...

Re: anyone having any luck

Caught 4 so far here in northern WY. Our numbers seem really good this year. I've been seeing more tracks than ever and lots of females with kittens. Treed this tom last weekend.

Re: Pocahontas Plotts

I have a pocahontas bred plott that does really good on bobcats for me. Really fast on track and cold nosed.

Progress of a Topper Again Pup. How are the rest doing?

Any of you guys get a pup from Andy's litter in June. I was just curious how they were doing. I've had mine on 10 lions and probably a dozen bobcat tracks of which 4 were caught. It's been tough conditions and I just can't seem to catch a break this year. I think she could catch her own lion but not ...
