Re: Field Trial in Prineville Oregon

I am sooo bummed that Kenneth won't be making it to the trials. He had a fall yesterday and broke his leg to those of you that don't know. It won't be the same without him!!! Everyone please say a prayer for him and his family that his surgery goes well and he heals quickly!!!

Re: Herb Kennedy Funeral

I'm so bummed...talked more then we ever have at the Prineville field trials and a litter mate pup I have to a pup he has--asked me what I would sell him for and told him let me work with my pup some more and meet up in Ukiah next month. He even remembered my grandson from Ukiah the year before and ...

Re: I don't have a frickin clue 'now' and I need HELP!

Thank you George and I did not take in 'all' in the prior post because I am not familiar with the name...
I am taking in ALL of the posts and also what I am still 'gathering'...in info and from what I SEE in my OWN videos...I will kill ANY DOG if I see it aggressive to a child...even 'yours' if I ...

Re: I don't have a frickin clue 'now' and I need HELP!

Thank you very much for your input...everyone's. But I just took this video on the 3rd? I was very upset when they told me that pup was 'aggressive? I'm glad I took the time to go back and talk to them to get more info before I cull a pup that 'might have' just had the hell scared out of him. I have ...

Re: I don't have a frickin clue 'now' and I need HELP!

I just spoke to the lady again where all this took place to get a better understanding of all that happened. She said the dog was not aggressive until the 3 men cornered him and put a slip pole on him. She thought he was way more scared then aggressive and fighting against them rather then at them ...

Re: I don't have a frickin clue 'now' and I need HELP!

He's fine 'with me'...and he is amazing training...I just don't know how to make him 'trust' others besides me? Because I was not 'there' tonight I don't know...but they said they had him 'cornered' and he was scared and fought. Apparently enough these guys were nervous when I demanded they shake my ...

Re: Prineville Field Trial, June 6th & 7th

I didn't quite understand your reply yota. But ya the trials are fun and the Craddocks are really awesome people.
And Joes the only thing I know why he wanted to get rid of this pup is because he did not have time for him. Haven't been able to get him out myself yet but may be new snow here this ...

Re: Prineville Field Trial, June 6th & 7th

Thanks Larry for the reply. I haven't been able to get him out yet because it's nothing but rain here. He definately catches on good as far as minding--better then my other older dogs! I know he's been on some trees. I think the owner just was new to hound hunting and took on a pup he wished would ...

Re: Prineville Field Trial, June 6th & 7th

Hey who was selling the walker/plot pups at the trials last summer? I ended up with one of them last week and would really appreciate a little more 'history', etc...about the dog. He's pretty much the 'best minded, mannered' pup I've ever owned and only have had him 5 days. Gonna get him out over ...

Re: Longest gestation period?

Thanks driftwood for your reply. I've heard a million dif. stories her first litter she could be late, etc... I've watched her like a halk but she never really grew a 'belly'--maybe slightly, then stopped and glands beginning to change, etc...is what made me begin to think she may have delivered ...

Re: Longest gestation period?

Thanks. She's fine. I figured if she had any at all it was about 3-4 weeks ago and early and she did not gain much weight so first litter she may have ate them if had any at all though I really saw no signs of that. She's not stressed at all and temp is fine. I keep a close eye on her if any ...

Longest gestation period?

What is the longest gestation period anyone has had with a dog?
Mine showed all the signs but now a good week over due and nothing. I've checked her dog house for dead or abort. Now assuming was nothing at all but a long false or maybe aborted a couple of weeks ago maybe? Just wondering if anyone ...

Re: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanks very much Big Horn. And he definately had an angel with him when that pick up came flying down on it's top! From the markings we estimated he was airborne at least 15 ft. Not a picture a mom wants to drive up and see.
Again wishing all a safe and Happy New Year! Ha, ha...I remember telling ...
