Re: Coon calling
Coon puppies in distress tends to workwell around here. The newer digital callers can load so manny different sounds that you can mix and match to get different results. Red or green lights work best. I also tend to step up to a 22mag that is semi auto as a lot of the shots are on moving coons on th...

Re: Scouting
Trenton when ever you are looking for any game animal remember this. He is just like you or me he needs a place to rest and sleep, he needs a place to drink and a place to eat. He wants to do this in the safest place he can to insure survival. This may be in a remote wilderness, private property or ...

I love watching these videos. Thank you for posting them. I really appreciate all the hardwork you put into making and editing videos as well as interviewing older hunters. Not to mention locating other videos and getting them posted. Thanks again.

Re: Coon Hunting
Try to learn the lay of the land you plan to hunt your dog in before you take the dog out. Learn where the bogs are and how to get around them. Learn where the thickets are so you can swing around them faster. This will help you to keep up with the dog better as everything looks different at night. ...

Re: Suggestions for a hunting/ranch/kids dog
David I feel as though you have been holding out on the lab cur mix thing. Just kidding. Trash breaking a lab can be interesting though. They like to retrieve things and shocking them with a skunk in there mouth when they are retrieving it only makes them run to you faster, just saying. It is hard t...

Re: Average Length of Race
The average race for me is 10 min or so and 1/4 to 1/2 mile distance. If it goes much more then that I have a dog that gets kind of quiet. He catches about 1/4 of them or more on the ground. The other dog has only caught 1 or 2 on the ground in 6 years. I have races that will go 30 min and over a mi...

Re: Bobcat Dog book on YouTube
David I love the book and listening to you read it. Have you looked into selling copies to the hound suppliers like DUsupplies that buddy runs, FnT, etc. to sell more copies of the books. Most of the places you can find the Wick books I think would carry yours aaa well. Or you could just sell they o...

Hey David you should put your video of Everything I Have with the book section. I really enjoyed that. I always have to go to the old link to find it.

Re: NEW Big Game Hound Hunting MAGAZINE
I believe it wasn't profitable and difficult to get stories. I did subscribe and got a few issues. They were nice magazines. They had stories and not a ton of advertising.

Re: Any tips on how to get pup to tree?
The best advice I could give you is to buy the walk with wick books. Your dogs are young. I am not an expert, but you have been given great advice. There is no magical number for a bench mark at a certain age. But over doing it or making a seemingly minor mistake at a younger age trends to have much...
