Yes. It has already passed thru and just has a final hearing in February, maybe April, I do believe, which would mean as of the new Regs on July 1st it will be legal.

So it looks like the regs were amended for 265 and the GPS, and treeing switch regulations were removed making it legal to use GPS now I am assuming. Unless I am missing it which is always possible. Here is a link to the new regs https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx ... 146&inline

With a unanimous 3-0 vote, the California Fish and Game Commission voted to abolish the longstanding ban on the use of Global Positioning System (GPS) collars for hounds. As of July 1, houndsmen will be able to use GPS collars to train and hunt in California.----from the Sportsman's Alliance
