I wasnt going to reply to this post 'this subject has been visited too many times . just want to know what about the plott dog needs to be changed to justify crossing him with ablue dog . are you just crossing the best dog in your area to the other best or is the plott lacking something ? if so you dont need to cross breeds ,if you look some one has the type you want in that breed . dont own plotts just my preffrence i have been around some ,they all came from one man , his name was roy sing been alot of years dont know if hes still around , my point is you dont have to cross breeds to get what you want ,just do some searching. http://www.fallriverwalker.com

Roy Sing, I haven't heard that name in 25 years. I used to live not to far from Roy in Arkansas and he had the black plots, nice guy and had good dogs. Mike
