Spanky, you took my guess. 
Was it a young boar that had bigger shoulders, bigger feet. That is fairly common around here. They generally don't have much mass in their back end to weigh very much.
Still sound like a plenty exciting enough hunt. That's more important than the size of the critter.

THE BEAR IS SHORT FRAMED, CANT TELL HOW MUCH FAT FROM THE PICTURE SO I'M GUESSING 190-210 RANGE, JUST BASED ON THE PICTURE.

killed one couple years ago looked preety close to the same went 240 dressed. Big frame no fat.
