LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WERE ONLY 6 WEEKS AWAY FROM THE BIG DANCE. I THINK THIS WILL PROBABLY BE THE BIGGEST HUNT I'VE BEEN TO OUT WEST AS WE HAVE THE TEAM REDBONE COMING FROM THE BIG SKY COUNTRY, LANCE AND BJ COMING FROM UTAH PACKING ENGLISH POWER AND BRADY MR WORLD CHAMPION 2009 BLUETICK AND COMPANY COMING FROM CALI AND TEAM ENGLISH COMING FROM WA-OR-ID WITH OUR SECRET WEAPONS. IM SURE I MISSED SEVERAL FOLKS SO LETS HER YOUR RUMBLE.

GUESS I WOKE UP A LITTLE SPUNKIE THIS MORNING; THIS SITE IS A LITTLE TO QUITE LOL.

I know there is no on-site camping, I'll e-mail locals and find out about camping close by. I know when in doubt, find a Motel 6...and there is one near by that smelled kinda skunky after one of our stays.

Dee, are Walkers going to represented at all? Ya know, I never saw an English till I went back east. There just were none coming 8-9 years ago.

Libby, thanks for looking into that for me. Very much appreciated! A motel 6 maybe wht we resort to. I know "skunky" will be the term used after my stay as well :) Love puppies!

I will be bringing a handful of Walkers, so there will be a few from my end.

This will be my first out of state event. Kinda excited :)

YSHBHounds, look forward to meeting you, MPHC is a good place to go for first out of state event, everyone is very nice.

E-mail back from a local from the area:
I think the following have year around camping. Benton County Fair Grounds, west of Corvallis. Polk County Fair Grounds, Rickreall, Oregon in Rickreall about 30 miles north of E.E. Wilson. KOA east of Corvallis on Hwy 34.

Rickreall is only 16 miles north of EE Wilson, but the author always gets to EE Wilson from the south! LOL I wouldn't particularly want to camp at Polk County Fairgrounds if they have camping, I drive by it on my way in.

My husband and I have stayed at Motel 6 in Corvallis when we were too tired to drive the hour 1/2 home:
935 NW Garfield Avenue, Corvallis, OR
(541) 758-9125 ‎
I carry Fabreze with me every where now!

There appears to be an RV place that may allow camping in Independence (not very far):
141 South 17th St # 12A
Independence, OR 97351
(503) 838-4552

Hope this helps!

Dang, Mike, I thought you were only going to Kentucky. Good to hear you and the hounds are getting to see lots of coons. But you'll be in a place with fewer hunting opportunities than out here soon! My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Okay, If you aren't going where it's sandy and hot, come out next weekend! Nora got the info posted, thanks Nora! You got Addison working with the horses and dogs yet?

I plan to get there by 430-5pm with food on Friday. Have a safe trip everyone, and look forward to seeing everyone.
