howdy fellers far as ears go . not that important to me it's the size and body structure i'm more interested in , when i started this i was trying to find out out of all the different bloodlines if there was any paticular line that still was predominatly the cur type or smaller stouter built dogs , they just work so much better in the thick brush & briars here in texas. i've got a pair of houndy type plott's now and i hunt them straight but i like blending them into my catahoula line . i've got a big game bred runnin walker i do the same with [ excellant cross with cat .] she's a big long legged hussy i use on b-cats & yotes . and that cross throws some god awful purty long legged spotted hounds that get the job done . this is a good board i'll be around for awhile

Bill Kinross also has some dogs that are built like what you are looking for. He is out of Utah.

I had a female out of his Negra and Curly dogs that I wouldn't have been afraid to put down any where with any one. Not that she was the greatest dog ever, I just new she would be with the other dogs when the day was over.
