Helping your dogs

[Old dog]

this post reminds me of my first cat dog. he was a red dog with a good nose, hard headed,no quit attitude. one nite a bobcat crossed the road and he treed it in bout five minutes. that cat climbed the first tree it seen.problem was is that the cat also made ole red think they all climbed the first tree they came to. ill bet I walked into fifty slick trees in the next few months. man I wore out a good pair of boots. finally I started whoopin his butt and making him find the track again, usually wound up slick again. lol but in the end that dog got tired of the whoopins and settled into a sure enough cat dog...soo id say yes its ok to help them out
