Most people are best off with a leopard with mt state Sadie or Rachel in their background. That being said the best leopard I've ever owned I got from Randy Oller

I've heard you can't even get papers for a leopard cur pup until it can go truck to tree by itself with witnesses, anyone know if that's true?

If the leopard cur is registered in the alcba it can't be permanently registered unless it can strike it's own track and tree on its own. It has to have three people as judges.

That's why the bmc breeds have gone to junk people breeding fefe to fefe and nothing reproduced that worth a crap. Question is why would someone that wants great dogs settle for any caliber under his dog. If they truly want the best dogs.

I had a small Kemmer he was a great lion and bear dog. I have a Clark bred leopard and one of Randy Oller's dogs now. Tha Clark dog is a hunting machine lion and bear, the Oller dog is a young dog but he is looking like he will be a good one. Teamed up with my big Blue dogs it all works for me.

I run mostly crossed up leopard x walker crosses but do own one pure breed leopard out of Nick Rileys stuff. Good dog on lion, lynx and bear.
If I were you I would look for a pup out of bobcat hunting parents.
There are two type of hounds I would never own, one a snow hunting cougar hound and second a coon hound.
It does not take much of a hound to catch either.
Check With Nick I know his leopards catch bobbers.

As for the Ladner dogs, i live not far from curt Ladner at all and I'm not going to talk about another mans dogs, but I will say this, if your not a "fur mommy" I wouldn't waste my hard earned money on a dog from a person who hasn't hunted the line of dogs in many generations and breeds more gyps a year than times he hunts, not one person who is a serious Hunter around our parts run his dogs on any type of game, criteria for breeding is the feedback he gets from his clients who tell them little fefe treed a squirrel on their walk in the park or chased a rabbit on the evening bike ride.
Some folks sure love telling lies ..
You are the biggest lie I know of I hunt every night you have no idea what your saying

Most people I talked with that culled dogs from Randy Oller expected them to hunt like a hound they are really mellow and often don't start like a ball of fire but in good hands most will make really good dogs. If someone is rough on dogs they won't work

Kemmers are extremely versatile dogs if you get one from big game lines. I have used mine on all game plus cows, in all conditions and they have done good for me. Intelligent, great winding and trail dogs, great handling dogs. My lead dog is a 100% Kemmer and the best all round hunting and working dog I've owned.
