Not that you will say one way or the other but that looks like the unit 17 area. Lots of guys up hunting that area over the weekend. About 12 inches of snow in some areas. Good job man.

we hunted over there one day and there were 15 trucks so we left. There was snow in alot of good country. When you hunt the dirt alot you learn were lions like to hang so i think it gives you an advantage over the "snow birds".

the cactus is not a real bad problem they get it in their tails and face sometimes but not a big deal.

Good job dogman and nice pics too. I couldn't go out after this first winter storm we got. My daughter had activities at her school and there are priorities. You must be lucky with the cactus. I've gone out a few times and had my dogs get into some jumping cholla. One pice got rolled up in my dogs ear. He also got one in his foot, which he tried to get out with his mounth, so quite a few thorns in there. Maybe I got dumb dogs! :D Glad to see you got some cats in the tree. Have a good one.

we have quite a bit of cactus in mt. not so much where i hunt, but where i take the dogs for day time outings for excersice. my female use to get them on her pads, nows its like she watches out for them, never had another incident in a long time.

great job!! Thanks for the pics. keep them comin. you guys ever hunt 24B greww up runnin all over that unit. Last time I was down there the pintocreek drainage had cats all through it.
